We have plenty of activities for children and youth - look below for something to suit you!
BLASTOFF: Sundays 11-12noon
Blastoff is our Sunday club every week as part of our Family Service. It is a fun, all action hour that includes singing, quizzes, games and bible stories. We teach the children about Jesus' life and what He taught in a way that they can understand. BLASTOFF is aimed at 2-10 year olds and is run by a lively, dedicated team of workers.
Tots and Toys: Mondays 9.30-11am
Our pre-school group runs during
term time. We have many activities including painting, sticking and
play doh. We have an abundance of toys to suit all ages and a mixture
of carers, childminders as well as parents and grandparents! The children
enjoy a time of singing and we sometimes include a story. The adults have
a relaxing time and refreshments are provided for all. There is a
small fee of 50p per adult to cover the cost of new toys and refreshments.
Entrance is via the side door of our Church, on Andrew's Road.
Countdown: Thursdays
6.30-7.30pm This is a lively and highly successful meeting for kids from 5 years of age upwards (Year 1 - Year 6), every Thursday during term time. There are lots of activities such as cooking, art and craft time and exciting games that occur in the main hall. Refreshments are provided and, after a lively time of singing, a bible based story is told with the use of puppets or other visual aids. Children are can be taken home after the club has finished, although we no longer own a minibus. Points are given out during the evening for good behaviour and the children get to "spend" these in a shop every few weeks. A party is arranged near to Christmas time for all who attend the club.
